It's Been Awhile...

Haven't posted anything in The African American Network blog, but today, I felt compelled to start back up!

It's almost Thanksgiving and 2020 has been filled with tosses and turns unlike no other.  Although life has changed a lot, there have been many blessings, preparation time, reflecting and soul searching opportunities that I have taken advantage of.

Technology is an industry that I love and have followed and participated in on the surface for many years, but my friend Covid 19 has pushed me to really delve into the infrastructure of my business.  It has prepared me to do what it takes to position TAAN TV for the vision that was birthed in 1995.  Who would have thought that a pandemic  would become the saving grace of a business and bring a powerful vision to fruition.  Well, TAAN TV - The African American Network will flourish in 2021.  It's been a long time coming, but the help that we needed to enable it to bear fruit is finally here!

For those that don't me, I'm Laura Thompson, General Manager & Creator of TAAN TV which stands for The African American Network.  I've worn a lot of hats in my lifetime, but TAAN TV is what I want to invest the rest of my life doing.

TAAN TV has a local feel and global reach.  We are a digital television broadcast network and we broadcast on five platforms - ROKU, Android & Apple Devices, Amazon Fire Stick and online at www.taan.tv.  We are a subscription based platform and provide you with content that speaks to the hearts and souls of African Americans and provides a platform and voice for the many that may be ignored by mainstream media.

Check out what we've done and what we're doing. And we're just getting started.  We are excited about the future of TAAN TV.  Telling our stories is the key and TAAN TV is providing a platform to air your content.  Follow us on FaceBook, Instagram, & Twitter @taantv and LinkedIn @taantv
