Dark Secrets Revealed...
Child molestation is probably one of the worst offenses that any child, male or female, can face. Being forced into an unwanted sexual encounter is hard for an adult, but can you imagine how a helpless child deals with being forced into a sexual encounter and then forced to keep it a secret.
Damaging a child's innocence can be devastating, especially when that child comes from a group that is so often victimized by society. There seems to be no safe haven for young kids...not the home, church, or at school. Those that are in a position to love and protect are using our children for their sexual gratification.
Sexual abuse is not new. It has been around since the beginning of time. Older white men molesting Black boys seems to be a norm. Molesting athletes seems to be something that goes along with the privilege of coaching young men. My heart bleeds tears of sorrow for the young men that are being molested and I cry tears of joy for those that are beginning to come forward.
Molesters! Leave our children alone...leave our young black men alone....
